We believe in being inclusive and welcoming to all. We believe that despite all violence and hatred around us, we should embrace and celebrate our differences. We believe that our differences make us stronger.
We created the Pride Society of the Comox Valley, dba Comox Valley Pride, in hopes of bringing people together from all walks of life, working together toward a future that offers love and inclusivity for all.
Mission Statement
“Our mission is to unite the Comox Valley Pride Community, be visible and celebrate diversity”
1. Providing education, advocacy, and public events that focus on the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Communicating with government, community and corporations to discuss LGBTQIA2S+ related issues
2. Serving as a resource for youth focused programs and service groups – advocating on behalf of LGBTQIA2S+ youth in areas where they are not being fairly acknowledged or represented
3. Contributing to the general Comox Valley Community as a resource and as active members of society
